Day Twelve: 30 Days of Gratitude

Today, I have been reflecting on the meaning of significance… What does it mean to be significant? Do I try to be significant and important in order to please others? THAT… is a recipe for heartache.

There are so many ways in which we can add value to our lives, not to prove to anyone or anything what we are capable of, but to reach our own potential within ourselves.

Today, I am thankful for continually striving and working to create momentum and give significance to my own life. By increasing our personal confidence, we can create the best possible version of ourselves that we can!

As Mastin Kipp States…

“Shift your verbiage and FOCUS  to ‘GIVING’ your gifts…

GO FROM needing SIGNIFICANCE, to making a CONTRIBUTION in your life …”

Day Nine: 30 Days of Gratitude

Mimi’s wedding= SUCCESS! As I was sitting on the runway in Atlanta this morning, I flipped through the hundreds of quotes I save in my “notes” app on my iPhone (it’s embarrassing how many I have, and naturally, coordinated by month), and came across this gem by Steve Jobs:

“That’s been one of my mantras – focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.”

This quote instantly reminded me of something my mother instilled in me from a young age. Keep it simple. Keep it focused. She always reminded me to live life in moderation, and to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. No coincidence that this quote reminded me of her on Mother’s Day, right?!

Absolutely GRATEFUL for my beautiful, amazing, talented, athletic, loving, spiritual, and intuitive mother! Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, so they say…and as I get older, I begin to realize that becoming more and more like my sweet momma is definitely THE. BEST. THING. I would be lucky to be half the woman and mother she has been to myself and our family!

Days Seven & Eight: 30 Days of Gratitude

I wanted to lump these two days together, as I am down in the Keys celebrating Mhyria & Vlad’s wedding!

FAMILY & FRIENDS. Being a part of this ceremony with families of the bride and the groom is the most amazing feeling…

THANKFUL FOR MY BEST FRIEND MHYRIA!! And couldn’t be happier for her to marry HER best friend…the most incredibly caring and loving man, Vlad Polyakov!

One. Hour. BEAMING! So grateful. Words do NOT express my happiness right now!
